My MSc research aimed to assess emergent vegetation and emerging aquatic invertebrate community response to Phragmites management. Phragmites was manually removed from a Great Lakes coastal wetland at Point Pelee National Park in 2020. In 2022, I collected vegetation and invertebrate data to determine if the Phragmites-treated wetland was returning to pre-invasion status, my comparing these communities to a reference Button Bush Thicket Swamp. The results of this research are linked above.
